Hmmm
Perhaps I should be more selective in my blog titles, giving the title 'Update' to my last blog probably wasn't a good idea, I seem to have had more hits in the last week than I do in a month and I'm sure their not interested in my blog or baking for that matter. I made a nice cheesecake for one of the ladies at work, it was her birthday and the cheesecake was a request, it did result in an offer of marriage but as she is already spoken for I had to politely decline. Still it does show how well it was received, it was just a lemon cheesecake with ground almonds in the biscuit base and some fruit (strawberries, blueberries and raspberries) arranged on the plate. There would be a picture but all it would show is an empty plate with some crumbs on.

Update
It always seems I'm playing catch up these days, there never seems to be enough time in the day to even do a quick post to let the world know what I've been up to. Well today I've managed to find ten minutes between getting home at 10 pm and going to bed. I'm pleased to report that I have been doing lots of baking, all sorts of bread (onion, walnut & raisin etc.) and a cakes - Graveyard Cake
The result wasn't too bad but still think it could have been better, I always seem to be rushed these days.
Ah just found a pic from my baking course at Cinnamon Square. The course was good and Paul (our teacher) was as knowledgeable as ever, the guy is really good at breaking down all the myths that surround any baking with sourdough. The other guys taking part were all super keen as well, I think we all came away not just with the bread we baked and a sample of the Cinnamon Square sourdough but with an enthusiasm to bake tons of bread, sourdough in particular.
